Home:

EclipseClan makes their home on the coastal mountains of the land they were led to after having to leave their old home due to a message from StarClan. They have a limited space but they make do with what they have got. They also have some rocky areas that no other clans wished to settle near. Twolegs are very rare here.

Animals:

EclipseClan deals with a rather small but varied range of animals that live in the mountains with them. They will often be opportunistic and sometimes will even eat foxes though it isn't too common. They will hunt birds and rodents and even try their luck at taking down young mountain goats and other small ungulates that reside there. They have a range of predators which includes birds of prey, wolverines, and sometimes bears though their main danger is the threat of falling off the side of the cliffs.

Culture / Traditions:

EclipseClan has some unique traditions that makes them stand out from the other Clans.

They will often gather simple items around their territory, mainly bones, feathers and pelts of animals they have killed. They have been able to learn how to skin animal pelts and use the pelts for their nests. In winter they will sometimes wear some pelts on their bodies to keep them warm. They don't wear many accessories though as they see it as more pointless but sometimes will wear bone necklaces to gatherings.

Despite where they live, EclipseClan is not very close to their ancestors and often have trouble communicating with StarClan.

The whole Clan will live together with nursing mothers living off the side with their kits. The leader sleeps on a raised rock in the middle of the cave. The healer has two dens, one for the sick and one for their herbs. They will often sleep with the rest of the Clan on a raised rock that is near the medicine dens. Kits stay in the caves and around the slight outcropping right outside of their clan den, and can only leave for extended periods of time once they are apprentices. No cat can leave the safety of the cave and ledge alone and must always travel in pairs.

New warriors will sit perched on the outcropping above the entrance to the clan den. They can only do this on clear nights and on the full moon, keeping watch while some of the Clan heads off to the gathering.

Because of how bad the weather can be, EclipseClan cats try to stay vigilant for any subtle changes.
