Strong-willed and proud of who she is, Gracey hated when her parents hid her away in her youth. She was told to remain in her full-pony disguise at all times, and it wasn't until the second defeat of Queen Chrysalis that she showed her true form to her friends. They all accepted her, happily surprising her parents as then Gusty was then willing to show his true form as well (though he was much slower to grow accustomed to no longer hiding).
