Character Summary

Phanes is a unique dragon, to put it lightly.

Though born with a unique mix of extrodinary powers, they're kept as a pet to, funily enough, the skywing queen, Buzzard. Think the situation in which Glory had been in during the first book.

Born into the role and traumatized into obedience, they haven't known any other life. But soon, they might be rescued from that role....

Selene wasn't supposed to be just her. She was supposed to have a twin sister, and their first owners had paid a lot for the two to be perfect. But their sibling got absorbed, seemed to meld with them in the egg, infuriating their owners. Alas, she was hatched, and there was no more they could do. They kept her, though did not treat her even remotely well, rarely treating her with any wellness save for keeping her scales clean and her not looking entirely skeletal. Around her third birthday, though, things changed. She was bought it seemed. And by the queen of the skywings of all dragons.

Selene was treated much better, no longer being starved for simply looking the way of her owner. Though she still went through the psychological tourture, and became all but dependent on her owner, she was allowed to be herself to a degree. He changed himself to Phanes as he was allowed to explore his own identity. He soon became his queen's most prized pet, and remains so to the day.
