Laya is a waterfaller pony who loves staying up until the early hours of the morning, walking along rocky coastlines and appreciating the delicate ecosystem that the ocean and sandy beach creates and cares for. She very in-tune with the sea, knowing the tide at all times and takes it upon herself to watch the coastline. 

If it becomes dangerous or a storm is approaching, she is quick to let other ponies and other life know to seek shelter.
