Boysen had a history of heavy gambling when he was in his teenage years, this caught up with him in adulthood too. He would even gamble away his families treasured items just for the chance to win. His luck was basically nonexistant, but his drive never stopped him... Until his wife left and took his son, their divorce took such a large toll on him... He had one last idea to win big, he had already gambled away his life to this god-forsaken casino, what more does he have to lose? He arrived to the casino owners office and made him an offer... He would sell him his own canines for a small amount of money... The casino owner laughed and went straight to business, ripping out Boysens canines and handed him a small handfull of money... Boysen, with his mouth in stinging pain and a bloody mess trailing around wherever he walked, went to somewhere where ne thought he would never find himself at, The God of Lucks shrine.
He made the small offering and even offered his own freedom to Labriis, the god of luck. He went back to the casino with Labriis by his side and made a daring bet to the casino owner... If he won, he would take the casino and all the money invested in it. If he lost, he would give the casino owner the satisfaction of never coming back. With the last seconds of the card game, Labriis rigged the game and Boysen won...Boysen rose to be the richest man in his region and even managed to make the god of luck his spouse... just being his charming self of course... He's still trying to get full custody of his son but for now, he gets custody of his son every other week.
Boysen is a fairly carefree guy, never really worrying about anything bad anymore. He is however, overly confident, even sometimes annoying his wife, Labriis. She doesn't mind it all too much becuase they find this egotistical confidence quite entertaining. Boysen does tone down his ego when he is welcoming new guests in his casino, using his charm to make them stay longer and come back another time.
After a whole night of entertaining guests, he sleeps the rest of the morning after. His ego is almost non-existent when he's at home, just wanting to enjoy the company of his small family. He enters a more goofy and caring state when he's not working, giving him a chance to heal once again.
