Matte Light Purple Pearl

Lilac Star Sapphire's Pearl who escaped with her and Pink Star Sapphire to the abandoned colony they currently reside in.

She is a very shy gem, often very hesitant to speak her mind due to the Homeworld mentality that Pearls are not to speak unless spoken to. After escaping, she has become a little more confident to speak up about her thoughts and feelings at the encouragement of Winza Sapphire, but is still very much reserved and nervous.

Lilac Star Sapphire was her owner, up until their escape to an inactive colony. Now she does not have much of a servant status as she did on Homeworld, and is treated more equally to Lilac Star.

Their relationship is complicated. MLP Pearl had been afraid that Pink Star was taking Lilac Star away from her but was very hesitant to speak up about their relationship together.

Before, she was very conflicted with the fusion. The way she felt about Winza was almost the same as she felt about Pink Star Sapphire, as if she lost the only person she was really close to. It was only after them wanting to stay together that she spilled out all of her feelings and thoughts. MLP Pearl and Winza (by extension Pink Star Sapphire) have slowly began mending their relations with each other, with her accepting that this is what Lilac Star wants.

• The MLP part of her name is just an acronym of Matte Light Purple. It wasn't influenced by the My Little Pony cartoon.
