Astra

Appearance: Creamy white with a lot of pale yellow and red markings, pink eyes, nose, inner ears and paw pads. Pattern is symmetrical except for the paw markngs. Stiff build, definitely not agile. Thick, unkempt fur, but she's actually very bony and scrawny underneath. Constantly scowling.

Personality: Astra doesn't trust anyone. She's a lone wolf, works alone and won't accept anyone's help, thank you very much now piss off. She's bossy, has problems with all authority and won't take orders. Very headstrong and stubborn. Never seems to be happy or content and definitely hates you. Unfortunately her solo hunting skills are crap and she's been forced to take to scavenging and eating whatever she can find in order to survive. She's not proud of this and will physically attack anyone who brings it up.

Background: Astra is a former alpha female who was overthrown by her pack. She had taken the position by force, stealthily attacking the old alpha couple one by one and viciously tearing them to pieces. The pack agreed to her rule at first but quickly saw she was unfit for the position with her uncontrollable bloodlust and dictatorial views of power. Without a mate by her side, she was overpowered in a group effort and reduced to a worthless omega. Astra, not okay with her new position, ran away from the group.

Every now and then around springtime instincts get the better of Astra and she manages to find a male to mate with, but as of yet that has never resulted in forming a new pack. She usually chases away her partner as soon as her needs have been satisfied. If the encounter results in a litter she almost always either abandons her newborns or kills and devours them without mercy. A wolf's gotta eat, right?

Astra has way too regular run-ins with Nico, whom she loathes with every cell of her being. Nico, by contrast, finds her reactions to be hilarious and has no plans to stop irritating her anytime soon. Astra would brutally murder the insufferable brat without a second thought if he wasn't too quick and nimble for her to catch.
