Devin

Appearance: Canine-like lithe physique with long legs, shorter than average torso, semi-erect ears and a fluffy, curly tail. His fur sticks up at the back of his neck, creating a mane that then connects to his hair. Blind white eyes with very little color difference between the sclera, iris and pupil. His paws are constantly oozing with translucent green slime that marks his path wherever he walks. The same kind of slime also drips from his mouth, though not as much. Devin is about the size of a large wolf. His patterns are symmetrical. The back marking isn't exact.

Personality: Spirit hound, loner, occasionally a haunter. He's mostly indifferent and emotionless towards everything and keeps to himself, avoiding direct contact with any other sentient beings. Devin is blind in the eyes but "sees" with his other senses. He often stares into nothingness for hours, still as a statue, just observing his surroundings.

Background: It's unknown how Devin came to be. He lives in dark, shady forests and especially likes pitch-black nights and deep, dangerous swamps. He is always on the move and doesn't have a permanent home. He's a fast runner and usually moves with such stealth that he can't be seen unless that's what he wants. He usually only shows himself to intimidate intruders that disrupt his peace or seem to be doing harm to the nature around him, and even then it's just briefly or from a distance.
