Or'Yuhenal

Role in Story

Or’Yuhenal is the son of the ambassador to Earth, and Auren’s nephew. After his formal schooling, he struggled to find a career that suited him, especially considering his temper issues. He asked his father and uncle to join them on their journey to Earth, now that they were planning to open the planet, and took a menial job aboard the ship so he could observe and speak with the soldiers under his uncle’s command.

As it so happened, he became very friendly with the horses while tending them, which led him to be the first of his crew to cross paths with the new groundskeeper, Guinevere.

Goal

To temper his admiration of ambassadorial work with understanding.

To get proper control of his emotions.

Physical Description

Reasonably tall — 6’ 3”? — and lank. Eight (?) eyes, with variable heterochromia in several, mixing red, gold, and purple. Dark red skin like dried blood. White, long hair in small dread-like locks. Four arms.

Personality

Just, doesn’t seek profit, humble.  One of the most flawed, but also most well-meaning.

Has a very hot temper, and it scares him. Struggled with lashing out in violence as a child.

His interest in the military is framed for others as a desire for discipline and to do something for the greater good, but Or just fears himself as too destructive to do anything but fight.
