Prism is generally a quiet dragon, preferring to go off on her own, instead of being a part of a group. She is also very shy and timid, and it is rather easy to scare her. However, she's kind-hearted and loyal, despite all that's happened in her past.

When Prism hatched, her parents were horrified by what their daughter looked like. She wasn't anything they wanted, so on the night she hatched, they abandoned her along the border between the Ice and the Sand Kingdom. This is when Jackal, a sandwing, spots the strange looking IceWing and took her to the Scorpion den. There, she was raised. While she lived there, she discovered that she had been enchanted by an animus Nightwing. While not only changing her scales, he had given her the ability to see other dragons' auras. These auras can be found glowing right where the heart would be, and the colors represent their personalities.

Prism never felt like she belonged in the Scorpion den, not to mention the heat was absolutely unbearable, so under the cover of darkness, she left, leaving only a note for her caretaker. Leaving broke her heart, though she knew that she had to find someplace she belonged.

After searching for years, Prism landed in the peaceful rainforest, deciding that she would rest. Though, she soon found herself falling in love with the beauty of the rainforest.
