Velvito Raku

A 43 year old Karaanai named Velvito Helen Raku. He was 30 when he got sent to prison for his work with the Maricoff crime family. Velvito doesn't really like talking to people but still he's really good at talking to new people and building raport when he needed to for his old job & now for if he needs to get something from someone. His daughter (adoptive), Vara often writes letters, back and fourth with him in prison. He likes to write to people, mostly Vara, a lot more than he likes to talk to people. 

He was never truly loyal to the Maricoffs, he just did work for them to have protection from the police. He originally intended to flee, and then he took in Vara, an odd runaway, who now was also involved with the family.
