old rp character who I'm revamping to fit in my buddy's story lore!! she's deathly afraid of reptiles but also has way too much pride to ever admit that, so she tries to "prove" her lack of fear of them all the time by antagonizing small snakes and crocs. she often gets injured as a result, and each incident leaves her more afraid than before, and she associates reptiles with bad things happening so strongly that she can't wrap her head around the fact that it's her fault they keep biting at her 😭 she also got scared by a lizard once and took a nasty tumble down a cliff, which scarred her up pretty badly and helped to reinforce her idea that reptiles are bad omens lmao
