A hired KorTac operator going by the callsign "Nix" - shortened from Phoenix. He's generally very unserious and flirty until he needs to get his hands dirty. He's mainly a rifleman, but has moderate experience in tech weapons and explosives. He's very easy to get along with most of the time. He has a distinct accent, and can speak both Hungarian and English, with a little German + Spanish. He spent 6 years in the military before being contracted for KorTac - and made his way into the middle (not the best operator, not the worst). At base - you'll most likely find him half zoned somewhere or betting for things playing cards. He's banned from trying to cook.
He prefers to work in a squad - and has a habit of talking in sensitive situations. He responds to things without hesitating, speaking before he thinks. He has quick hands - which has saved his life more than once in close range situations. The scar on his face and wrist comes from a knife fight he barely won because he forgot he had a pistol on him. He can get annoyingly cocky. Overall - he's usually all bark and little bite.

Backstory
Childhood
He grew up in Hungary with 2 younger siblings (twins) and his mother, his father was a military sergeant from another country and didn't stay for long. He grew up as a cocky popular kid at school - to make up for his more chaotic and unstable home life. This included playing sports and having alot of (short) relationships.
He planned to join the military when he was 18, but his mother got suddenly sick a few months before his birthday and died. He was legally able to care for his siblings if he chose to - but he chose the military instead, and took a year to find a suitable place for his siblings to live before joining the army recruitment when he was 19.
Recruitment/Training
Similar to what he was like in school - Kayden was popular and well-liked by other recruits. He quickly felt some sort of comfort in the environment - and felt more like himself than he ever did at home or school.
He made friends with his bunkmate, Oliver, but always found something was off with him. Oliver was bullied by the other recruits for a reason he always seemed to miss, and overall struggled to keep up. He later found out Oliver was transgender, and had used his brothers identity to get into the army. Kayden thought this was extremely courageous and the two of them only got closer as he supported Oliver, helping him train and catch up with the rest of them.
He signed a military contract to last 4 years, and later extended it.
Mission in Ukraine
His first mission when passing training was in Ukraine, followed with Oliver and 3 other members of their section. He was on the frontline, defending from Russian cartel members.
His first mission when passing recruitment and training was in Ukraine - followed with Oliver and their section of 3 others. The 5 of them eventually got trapped hiding from a bigger enemy section - in which Oliver ended up confessing his feelings for Kayden in the spur of the moment. He did not feel the same, at least he lead himself to believe he didn't. He never gave him an answer, and later witnessed Oliver get shot and die in front of him.
mission in berlin
Years later, during a joint mission in Berlin, taking down Al-Qatala members, he met König and was put on his team, raiding a cell used for human trafficking and took down all 12 members. He had to convince the rescued hostages that König would lead them to safety, since they were scared of his sniper hood.
In 2022, he became a contractor for KorTac along with König.
Misc
Design / notes
- His main gun is a M4A1 assault rifle but you can draw him whatever (pistols/knives/explosives ect).
- You can give him extra gear (night vision stuff ect).
- He has a tattoo of three lines going around his left/our right bicep (shown in bottom ref).
- His hair is meant to be like Graves just a bit longer.
- You can give him more facial hair but not less.
- Art with canon characters / other COD ocs encouraged!
- Suggestive art is fine w/ him.
Relationships
Oliver
His old friend from training. He wasn't liked by many of the other recruits but Kayden befriended him and they were close. Got shot on their first mission together and died.
König
One of his higher-ups. Doesn't get the hint when he doesnt want to be around people and irritates him. Can speak a little German so they shit-talk Horangi infront of him.
Horangi
Plays card games together at base (and usually has to let him win). Has seen his face and thinks his burn scar is cool. Also shit-talks König together infront of him, just in English.
Nikto
Similar to König, irritates him when hes not in the mood to talk. Doesnt fully understand him but they r cool.
Allard
He flirted with her during their first interaction and got his ass handed to him. Now kinda scared to talk to her lol.
Graves
Met him and the Shadow Company once on some joint resource mission. Had to fight Graves off trying to recruit him.
