Dabi (PJO)

This is a 16-y/o version of Dabi that I stuck in the Percy Jackson Universe for fun.

He was raised in the Todoroki household as normal, but Endeavor ended up being his stepfather. Once he and Shoto found out that their real father was Hephaestus/Vulcan through overhearing an argument between Endeavor and Rei, they decided to run away (Dabi was about 11 at the time, Shoto was 6. Natsuo and Fuyumi were actually Endeavor's kids, though).

At some point on the way to Camp Half-Blood, guided by a satyr, Shoto ended up being separated from the group, and unknowingly to Dabi, he found his way to Camp Jupiter instead.

This all takes place before the first book, but at the time the series actually starts, Dabi has been at Camp Half Blood for 4 years. An all-year-rounder of course. After he learned his father was Hephaestus, he tried to learn everything else about him, and obviously related to his story of being the reject of the Olympian family.

He becomes the counselor of the Hephaestus cabin, but thanks to his father's rather antisocial nature, Dabi was kind of left in the dark a lot and doesn't have a lot of faith anymore. Because he yet again felt neglected by this newfound father who he wanted so badly to be different, he turns to Luke and joins him during the first series.

Luke's plan goes as canon, and Dabi sticks along until The Princess Andromeda was blown up. He got the message from Percy to abandon ship last minute, and the nasty scar on his face is from not quite getting off in time.

Now he's more in the Heroes of Olympus timeframe, once again at Camp Half-Blood under a probationary period of sorts, now feeling something is much more wrong as the gods go silent.
