About
Before being found by modern society, Gyosei was found wandering the remains of a desecrated shrine. This led him to be categorized as an imaginary vengeful cursed spirit, but he would be much closer likened to a chimera of sorts-- the initial belief was that he is the mourning of the loss of animal life made manifest. When asked about it, he simply thinks it's funny; he's never angry enough to have been something like that, he says. Truthfully, he's from a lineage of similar feline creatures that have existed for centuries with incredibly long lifespans. Despite the years he's kept count of, he's still only a juvenile according to others of his kind-- should they even still exist.
As an enigma, it was thought best to keep him close at first. He was employed at behest of Gojo as a sort of bodyguard, using the cursed object on his face and keen sense of smell to keep watch of the students. After all, the watchful Six Eyes weren't on property at all times, and there needed to be a proper guard.
Personality
While reserved and even possibly irritated at first glance, it's just his resting face. He gets flustered when someone asks if he's upset out of nowhere. It doesn't help that his cursed object covers his eyes most of the time on missions, leading to even less of an expression read. Thankfully, most casual conversation is done with it removed, and he does his best to look approachable-- especially around the students.

Notes
- Does have armor, but doesn't wear it often.
- Sometimes can be found wearing a loose cloth collar.
- His canine teeth are made of the same reinforced crystal as his horns, and just as seethrough.
- When Raptor Sight is off his face, it leaves distinctive scars on either side of his muzzle where they pierce to form his fangs.

Swimming
Despite his catline appearance and tendencies, Gyosei is very much a fan of going for a swim every now and again. It's the one time he doesn't mind being soaked to the bone, and always enjoyable.
Physical Affection
Only from those he's close to or feels comfortable around. He'll lean in to encourage being patted, letting others brush their fingers through his silky fur. It's an act of friendship and comraderie to him, and he enjoys it deeply.
Assignments
As he's frequently only kept on grounds due to his nature, any opportunity he gets to leave will be taken. Trips to the store, full on missions, reconnaisance; he jumps at the chance to travel. Thankfully, he's been getting that chance with being Yuji's personal guard.
Dislikes
'Animal Treatment'
Behaving around him as if he's simply an animal will result in him closing off. Actions include petting without permission, face-grabbing, etc. by strangers. This reaction can range from a soured attitude towards the individual, to biting or lunging at the offender.
Baths
With his thick fur, bathing can prove to be arduous. Gojo and others in the staff insist he keep clean and bathe at least once a week, but that turns into a hefty chore for anyone involved. He's started picking up Panda's routine of Febreeze and air fresheners around him.
Disrespect
This is more or less his more archaic bloodline showing. He believes all life deserves respect in one way or another (unless an individual crosses a line and doesn't deserve it anymore). Respect is a two-way road in his eyes; should he be wronged, he's not afraid to make it known that you're distasteful in his eyes.
Techniques
Raptor Eyes
A special-grade cursed object that, at its base function, allows the wearer to see the flow of cursed energy around them. When all four 'eyes' are open, vision can include the aformentioned cursed flow, as well as items/entities made invisible for whatever reason. To be used, a pact must be made of equal value to be able to use it to the furthest extent; Gyosei offering his right eye as compensation. It leaves two pierced holes on either side of his muzzle when not on, and his right eye is permanantly scarred and blind. As he only gave up one eye, the use of Raptor Eyes is not permanant, and he won't have full use of it for more than a few hours at a time.

Trivia
- His favorite human food is pizza.
- Originally, his earrings were a gift from Principal Yaga. It's imbued with a Technique that allows him to store his soul in the earrings should his physical body be too damaged to fight.
- While being assigned to Yuji, he's still frequently found around the school grounds in general. He likes to join classes on occasion, either as a sparring partner or just to lounge in the back and listen. He finds the world of Jujutsu Sorcery very interesting.
- Even though he's over a century old and very knowledgeable, he's still very much learning. Comparing his species to a human, he's barely out of his teen years as it is; he still has a lot of growing to do, both mentally and physically. At his peak, he'll be at least three centuries old, and 7' minimum at the shoulder.
