Born to brewer monks, Yona was raised to be open and accepting of all peoples and walks of life. Seeking something more, they took their fascination with music and song to the road, looking to expand their horizons.

Finding a traveling troupe of performers and specialized merchant folk, Yona goes from town to town, meeting new people and writing new songs. Adventurous and confident as they are, it is not uncommon for the rest of the troupe to find them with a bed partner even on their first night in a new town.

Adventuring isn't something they've ever considered, but the appeal is easy enough to see. It's only a matter of time before they trade a troupe for a party.

Yona is typically a riot of color and mismatched patterns. They prefer to wear soft clothing similar to their monastery days, but in any color and pattern that strikes their fancy. Often the cut of their clothing may seem a bit revealing, but Yona delights in all things, including the glances their way. If they cared at all for being out of the spotlight, they might not literally wear bells around their neck and wrists.

Members of the same monastery in their youth, the two tabaxi have a past almost as colorful as Yona themself. No matter how he fusses though, Winter will always be their dear wise monk.
