Elouise is a void, a being that goes the beginning of their lives without emotions. Her 'key,' the person she met that suddenly had those emotions unlocked, is now her husband. They love each other very much, and later had Kylan, their one and only child, their son.

Kylan is also a void, and Elouise does her best to support him through everything he goes through. When he found his key, he was rejected. Elouise signed him up for therapy, and helped to teach him what these emotions he was now feeling were, and how to try and handle them.
