When Hiro was little he always dreamed of one day becoming the best Trainer in all of Jotho and facing the legendary Red head on. Lead by his dream young Hiro would train day and night, challenge whoever he could fight on his mission to become the greatest. 

Blinded by his goal, the young trainer would become overconfident way too eager to fight stronger foes, pushing his Pokémon to their limits no matter how beaten up they were...refusing to give up. 

Hiro didn't notice that he became so fixated on his goal that he neglected the health of his Pokémon until it was too late and his Friends had already turned their backs on him...until he was all alone and had no one to rely on. 

Aftermath

When news broke out that a boy from Azalea City had abandoned his Journey near the finish line, Bugsy was one of the first ones to visit his childhood friend worried that something might have happened to him...just to be turned away by the boys Mother, Hiro wasn't in the mood to talk. 

Days went by as the kid hide inside his room, refusing to speak with anyone other than his beloved starter. He didn't feel like talking about his adventures, about the friends he made along the way, about the battles he had fought and one...what use were these happy memories if he hurt the very Pokémon that trusted him so much? What use were these happy memories if he there wasn't anyone to share them with? The friends he had made during his Journey certainly wanted nothing to do with him. 

For the longest time becoming Champion had been his dreams, so suddenly deciding to abandon his Journey and turn his back on his life goal left the Teenager without a purpose, feeling lost and unsure on what to do with himself. He was contemplating giving up working with Pokémon altogether when his Mother came rushing in with a letter from the Professor, excitedly stating that Oak was searching for an assistant of sorts and urging Hiro to apply. 

Current Occupation

Hiro is one of Professor Oak's assistants though he prefers the term "Pokémon Courier" seeing as working for the Professor isn't everything he does. The Teenager specializes in delivering Study related notes or Pokémon from one City to the other, sometimes if the work demands it Hiro will also travel between Regions to either catch, track down or deliver specific Pokémon. 

You can usually find him running around Kanto or Jotho, trying to make sense of whatever the Professor asked him to do this time.

The pink hat Hiro wears originally belonged to Emily, the little girl was so happy when he agreed to catching her a Pokémon that she gifted him her favorite hat. No matter how much the Teenager claims to hate it, you will never see him leave the House without his hat.

Personality

Hiro is an Introvert with a generally quiet personality, preferring to observe and listen rather than taking the spotlight or entertaining the crowd. He also isnt much of a talker, which could be a result of his anti-social behaviors and his troubles of getting along with other people. 

According to those around him, Hiro often comes off as a scary and unapproachable loner, with his direct and short way of speaking or addressing other people often being misunderstood for being rude or annoyed. When in actuality the teenager could be closer described as a cat, cold and distant at first but a total sweetheart once you spent enough time around him to finally feel comfortable enough to open up.

× Spiders which is ironic considering the first Pokémon he caught for Emily was a Joltik he somehow tolerates enough to allow it crawling all over him.

Funfact

The Messanger bag Hiro uses for his work is decorated with a lot of Stickers from different Regions and City's he has already traveled to. He also stores photos of his friends and Pokémon inside his bags front pocket.

The first time Hiro meet his Father was when he helped Hitomi packing, while the teenager was too young to understand what was going on, to remember his Father's face or recall what his voice had sounded like...he does recal that the man had locked sad, almost as if he was regretting letting them leave. 

Timon is a free spirited Adventurer who refuses to settle down, no matter how much he may care for his Family, and never stays in a City or Twon for too long,- always ready to set of to a new Region to explore. His Parents never split on bad terms, continuing to stay in contact through the use of letters sent back and forth, even after Hitomi decided leaving Teak City for Azalea would be the best decision. 

While Hiro hasn't seen his Father in years, he still enjoys reading his monthly letters and telling him about his own travels sometimes even going as far as bothering Miles for photos he could include in his replays back.

Hitomi is a painter from Azalea City who made it her mission to bring whatever tails her Husband records in his monthly letters to life through colors on paper, according to Hiro she's incredibly talented. 

Hiro and his Mother seem to be incredibly close, with the teenager often going out of his way to tell her about all the fascinating and beautiful places he had seen or the different cultures of the brand new regions he had experienced.

When Hiro was little he always would ask his Mother to answer his Father's letters and include his messily drawn childish scribbles, even when the kid didn't know if their letters would actually reach the man for sure. 

He still remembers how most of his drawings would be centered around his imaginary Pokémon Journey, heavily inspired by his Father's stories. So when a package from his Father arrived on the kids 8th birthday, Hiro was nothing short than excited...even if according to Timon's letter the man wasn't sure what kind of Pokémon would hatch from his fragile birthday present, because an elder couple running a Pokémon Pension had given it to him unsure of what to do. 

Hiro grew so attached to the little Isso that he refuses to use the Baby Pokémon in a fight or eventually evolve him, prefering Izzy to stay small and adorable,- much to Timon's amusement.
