Ichika

Born on a world with uncommon magic, Ichika always wished to bring a  smile to peoples faces, either by helping them, cheering them up, or  raising their spirits with a song or dance. Her ultimate dream was to become a world famous idol, or, if that didn’t work out, the author of a story people all over the world could enjoy. Unfortunately for her, she  wasn’t very qualified in either fields, but she still tried her best to  bring people together no matter what!

One day, on a particularly  rainy day, Ichika noted what appeared to be a young child, lost and grumpy, she offered them shelter with her umbrella, and tried to cheer  them up with routines, while taking them to a nearby park (where they  requested to be), by the end, the child had a smile on their face, and  asked Ichika if she wanted to make other people happy like she did with  them, she said yes, and the child offered to shake her hand, she did,  but noted that it felt quite different from any other handshake before.

Over  the course of the next few days, Ichika noticed a few strange changes  to her as the days went on, she felt particularly more energetic than  ever before, almost as if she had the vigor of youth once again, she was  getting shorter, and her skin complexion was becoming shinier and  shinier… and for some reason, she was able to stretch her limbs farther  than she could before! While others might find this scary, she couldn’t  help but laugh and find it amazing, she didn’t have magic herself, but  she had something close to it!

She tried to keep it a bit of a  secret, but after two weeks, she was too giddy to hide it and started  to use her abilities more and more, not noticing by now she was a whole  foot shorter, had blushy marks, and was quite impervious to some damage…  and her hair was starting to turn pink.

Finally, she ran into the  child once more, who introduced themselves as  Maxime, a denizen of the  Fair Lands who was not beholden to any court, they had gifted Ichika a  portion of their power and magic, of which they had a lot of. Maxime  said he could take the powers back if she did not enjoy them, or she  could continue to have them on the condition they served him dutifully,  be it on this world, the Fair Lands, or even other worlds. With a bright  smile, Ichika happily agreed to serve the fae.

As a gift, Maxime  gave her a beautiful crown, and offered to make her an outfit to make  her standout, drawing on her love of music and stories, she asked for an  outfit intended to call images of magical girls and idols. Of course,  this was a simple task.

Now Ichika is an Oathbound, a servant of  the fae with A portion of Maxime’s power, and does whatever she is told,  but she has a large portion of free time, which she spends on her world  doing whatever she wants. But when her master has a role for her, she  happily goes to do what is necessary…

Of course, she has yet to meet the other Oathbound and Changelings bound to Maxime…
