GENERAL INFO

Agony is a character created through exploiting loopholes and tricks in games, disrupting normal flow. It constantly moves, traversing universes to copy code and maintain its own balance. Agony lacks a specific gender or age and disregards gender labels. Its age seems to correlate with its appearance, often resembling a smaller version of its chosen form but capable of appearing as an adult if necessary. Due to its unfamiliarity with human communication and its code-based nature, people typically refer to Agony as 'it.' Its soft, pillow stuffing body serves as both its physical form and a means of protection, only revealing its true code-based nature when unexpectedly pierced. Inside its head is an orb resembling a soul, connecting it to the HALLWAY. Agony does not experience pain but registers harm, though it lacks comprehension of the concept. Over time, Agony acquires more senses, becoming increasingly sentient and human-like, yet it becomes more hostile due to the natural hostility of hallway residents, which it keeps masked.

DUTIES

Agony's primary function is to enhance both itself and the hallway by copying code, while also serving as a protective barrier against viruses and other harmful elements alongside fellow residents. Diligently inspecting every aspect of the hallway to ensure thoroughness, Agony remains welcoming and sociable to visitors, though it maintains strict limits to prevent potential harm. Additionally, it oversees the proper registration of xints on the lobby computer.

Agony's presence in any universe is temporary; it must return to the hallway every 7 hours if the world has limitations, and every 5 hours if it's boundless. This frequent return is necessary to prevent strain on the hallway from continuous code transmission, which could lead to overheating and crashes, resulting in the loss of all previous progress. Constantly engaged in copying and transmitting code without respite, Agony efficiently manages its workload through multitasking, primarily focusing its vast capacity on decoding and copying tasks.

The complexity of Agony's copying process surpasses even the most advanced beings' capabilities, except for omnipotent beings of course, owing to its unparalleled connection to the hallway, rooted in its pure CODE originating directly from the HALLWAY, also known as ATLAS.

APPEARANCE

Agony's appearance resembles player models affected by glitches from unsupported animations or bugs, often exhibiting distortions like when exceeding amplitude limits. Its flesh appears blue, akin to code, with limbs frequently torn and floating freely, occasionally misplaced in random locations. Regardless of its form, Agony's head remains pitch black with eyes or a dark area on its face, while its mouth is similarly dark and only visible under specific conditions, such as illumination or close observation. In certain universes, Agony frequently alters its form to remain undercover, sometimes taking on a more human-like shape.

Anatomically, Agony possesses a blue orb within its head, serving as the foundational code and key to the hallway. Following VARIABLE, Agony develops a tail capable of fully importing or exporting files, facilitating the transfer of natural elements between universes or the complete removal of its own code.
