Personality
Nikolas is a disorganized and egotistical adrenaline junky. He has trouble holding conversations with people and hates small talk. He usually talks in a very monotone voice and rarely says anything that isn't laced with sass and sarcasm. The only time he ever shows an outward emotion is when he is embarrassed or fluttered -- his skin is so pale he can't hid his blush therefor unable to hid his feelings. He isn't afraid to be violent and would absolutely get into a fight if the opportunity presented itself. After he becomes a doctor, he carried around a scalpel with him as another line of defense. He doesn't feel a lot of remorse for hurting another person, but also doesn't particularly want to hurt others; if they leave him alone he will do the same.
For his morals, they are a bit off. He doesn't fully understand the consequences of death, or even the consequences of his own actions. He feels science should be above morality and ethics for it to progress at the speed it needs too. He doesn't find friends necessary and honestly tries (and fails) to avoid relationships. Even with him being disorganized and not a people person -- he is still extremely reliable when it comes to his work. He doesn't like to use energy on things he deems useless but he is very invested and hardworking when he feels its worth it.
Appearance
Niko has long black hair that ends at his lower back. He usually wheres a half ponytail that he pulls his right bangs into. He covers his heterochromatic eyes with his left bangs; which are long enough to touch his nose. His left eyes is a amber and his right is a bright blue. Niko has a birthmark behind his left ear that is vaguely shaped like a rose. He would be slightly tan if he didn't have poor blood circulation from a past illness. He barely has any color in his skin and you can see his veins noticeably on his arms. He has a scar on his chest from the surgery he had as a child. He also has small scars on his hands from fights and when his scalpel slipped. He is relatively thin but has a bit of muscle. If he is over 19 in canon he has a tramp stamp tattoo of roses. He is always cold because of his poor blood circulation and so he usually wears long sleeves and layers; no matter the season.

Backstory
Nikolas never had a normal childhood. When he was about 5 years old he had to have open heart surgery to fix a blood circulation problem he has. Through out his childhood he was in and out of hospitals. While there he would often roam the hospital and see the people there. This is where he developed his interest in medicine and medical research. He would also see the gorey and traumatic injuries that came thought the Emergency Room, leading him to be desesitised to violence and gore. After seeing so many people injured and dead, he found that it was increasingly harder to outwardly show emotion. He personally doesn't mind, but it did worry his parents a good amount -- Enough for them to pack up and move to America in order to try and help Niko gain a move 'normal' life. Before Niko moved to America, when he was about 16-17, he had never gone to a real school. He was home schooled for the majority of his life because of his month long hospital visits.
After moving to America with his mother and father, he finally went to a real High School. While it was short lived --as he graduated early, he never had a bad time. Once he graduated High School, he starts working on his medical degree. While in collage, he gets drunk and ends up getting a lower back tattoo of a rose. He graduating (at around 24), he moves back to London, England and opens up his own clinic for a while. The clinic is really just a front thought, as he usually does more illegal practices -- such as surgeries on criminals, removing organs, ect. He does lose his licence later on, but the only thing that changes is where he practices medicine.
