Meadowlark was born under the searing skies of Suden. Rumor carries on the wind that her pelt was once the colour of the sands around her, but after meeting a deity of prosperity, clovers and grass blossomed onto her pelt. Although the deity has given Meadowlark a home and an endless oasis to serve as her garden, Meadowlark can't help but look longingly toward the eastern wall. 

Just beyond the tessellating stone is Osten, a land of culture, knowledge, and most importantly, vast forests and ceaseless rains. To live there, in a little farmhouse in a woodland clearing, Meadowlark knows her gardens could flourish like never before. Her lawn would be blanketed in dense clovers, which she could share with her friends. Maybe Meadowlark could even find a deity of fortune to serve, enchanting her little plants with genuine bits and pieces of luck.

But if she were to leave Suden, she would have to abandon her deity, her garden, her best friends, h-her everything behind. Maybe she'll stay just a bit longer -- just until she's certain she's seen everything her home nation has to offer.
