Vasago

she's the sole survivor of an empire attack on her village. seeing as she was born with near-perfect recall, she remained alone there for a while after the empire withdrew, intending to be the "keeper" of her  village's memory. later, she formed a pact with a spirit of light that promised to ease her pain - accordingly, her pact-price was her memory.  she has very, very little recollection of her life prior to the moment  after forming her pact, and carries a book around to make sure she doesn't forget anything else. she hasn't yet, as far as anyone is aware, but you never know...

vasago is a deeply religious obsessive weirdo with a slight  obsession with The Goddess <3 (she has loosely modeled her appearance  off of furiae) and by extension caim who she sees as, like... a divine angel of death by virtue of being the brother of the goddess. yes i made her travel with the main characters because it was more entertaining  that way. she's getting brushed off every 2 seconds. she thinks anything  is just so long as it's in service of THE GODDESS <3 and that's her entire moral compass. surprisingly however she is normalpassing! she's amicable. you chat with her and you have a good time and then you  realize heyyyy wait you never told her where you live, why does she know  that???

in my "main" ending for her she decides she needs to sacrifice herself to save the world and does it by impaling herself on caim's  sword. if you can believe it, this did not save the world or really do  anything for it in particular. it did do Something by virtue of  "releasing" her memories, but that's all more relevant to her sister.
