It is very withdrawn, mostly keeping to themself. They’ve always struggled with social interaction and are scared that it’s ‘broken’- so they’re wary to engage with those who might validate those fears. But, when void eventually finds friends, they get very attached. Nil doesn’t talk a lot, unless they’re very comfortable with the people they’re around. They often communicate through limited sign language, writing/drawing, or just don’t really communicate at all. It doesn’t take a lot for void to become overstimulated or uncomfortable, and something that helps comfort them is a stuffed animal jellyfish they carry around. Void is super passionate about some specific subjects, and that’s the way to get the most enthusiastic communication out of them! Some of the big ones are astronomy, drawing, sea animals, and geology. They’re also an avid reader, reading whatever they can get their hands on. This helps them know a lot of fun facts about various subjects. And you know you’ve earned their friendship when they start sharing these with you. They have all of the bandages because after the broken crown and the empty wings, they’re scared of falling apart/ breaking anything else.
