Once a member of a medium sized pack residing by the lake, Patches is now a rogue with Felidae and Seahaze. She was once a well respected hunter in her old pack, that was until a cougar took her eye in a squabble over an elk carcass.
Her pack never treated her right ever again after that. She lost her rank as hunter, as her lack of depth perception made it more difficult to catch prey. The pack only ever treated her with disdain, believing that she was now only a burden. Despite this, Patches kept a cheery attitude, that was until she realized that even her own mate was growing apart from her because of her injury. That was her last straw.
In the dead of night, Patches abandoned her old pack to find a new life. She brought her two pups along with, not wanting them to grow up in a pack that treats it's members so terribly. Over time, she grew used to her missing eye and learned to hunt again. Pretty soon, she was able to hunt on her own and provide for her children.
One day, one of Patches's pups had wandered away while she was looking for food. After hours of frantic searching, the missing pup was returned to her by Felidae and Seahaze. Patches immediately grew a liking to these strangers, and decided to join them on their journey. Little did Patches know, these new acquaintances of hers were a dangerous bunch. Perhaps Patches bit off more than she could chew.
