Busy Bee

Bee lived with his sister, Apple, and together they owned a tavern. It was a fairly popular place, but one day a drunk patron got a little too angry and burnt the entire place to the ground. They needed to rebuild since it was their only source of income and also doubled as their home. Bee took out a loan in order to pay for it, but it turned out he accidentally loaned from a loan shark, and the debt was getting super steep. He was expressing his frustrations and worries about this while working one day when a shady customer offered him a job doing spy work because of his natural stealth and cat abilities. Desperate for the money, he took the job. He was successful, and this success got him more and more spying job offers. He ended up leaving home in order to do this full time because it provided good, fast money. He rarely keeps this money, instead sending it home to his sister. He hasn’t actually seen her in a long time, though. He is working on one last big job that will give him all the money he needs in order finally pay off the debt, which is to find out a huge secret about a corrupt high-ranking official which, when exposed, will result in the official losing his position.
