Artemis Bow

Artemis has a raceless white skin tone. Donning a dark green hooded cloak, their horns are usually covered... However, when their hood is removed, Artemis's horns look much that of a Siberian roe deer with autumn leaves sprouting from the tips. Beneath their cloak, they sport a lacy tunic with long puffy sleeves tucked into a pair of forest green slacks secured with a thick leather belt. Their weapon (which their name is derived from), the Artemis Bow, is usually secured to their back, along with a sturdy looking quiver for their arrows. Despite how often they draw from their quiver, it seems like they never run low on arrows. They also sported a pair of white, almost hawk-like wings prior to their "accident", but they were usually tucked beneath their cloak. Currently, their wings appear as orange and ghostly with a slight glow, and only manifest when they use their abilities in phights.

Before being driven to live among the mortals, Artemis was a very foolhardy person. It was common for them to start fights with the other deities just for the fun of it and often did irreparable damage to relations between these gods. They also had a bit of a mean streak, often using improper names to refer to some of their colleagues when attempting to start fights.

After the incident, however, they found themselves becoming a more humble and patient person. With the help of their companions giving them support from this life changing moment, Artemis found it in them to be more kind. Although their blood thirsty nature didn't really leave, their love for animals and protective nature makes them a valuable asset to their teams; though, they have trouble cooperating during fights and often need reeling back in.

Artemis was a rash young god who often picked fights with their peers and higher ups... Their troublesome nature extended to causing genuine harm to the other deities and was nearly impossible to reason with. In the midst of all this, Dusekkar grew fed up with their behavior and cast them down to the mortal realm after severing their wings with nothing but their gear and a fraction of their former powers. Scared, confused, alone, and out of options, Artemis sought refuge with Thieves' Den. The community was fairly inviting, despite the brash attitude Artemis used with them at first... Over time, however, the god gradually warmed up to their new friends and found a home with the residents. They discovered their love for working with endangered species during this and cultivated a thriving career on the mortal realm.

After getting adjusted to life among the rest of the demons, they became more open to making friends and as a result, became aquainted with Claws. Learning of their history in Blackrock opened Artemis's eyes to the horrors that mortals face in normal life. They grew furious and vowed to protect their companions from any sort of mortal corruption; no matter how unavoidable such a fate is.

Artemis is a ranged Phighter who specializes in applying chip damage via their arrows. They're highly mobile, utilizing their wings to glide to hard to reach areas and double jumps to evade attacks. On the other hand, they have fairly low HP and can be easily diffused by another skilled ranged class or by a melee attacker who can reach their perch.

Primary Skillset

• Passive - Float Like a Butterfly: Artemis can use their wings to propel themselves higher into the air, allowing the player to jump twice, or up to three times when under the effect of their Phinisher. This also allows them to have more moon-like gravity, enabling them to float and glide around for easier maneuverability.
• Primary - Sting Like a Bee: Artemis fires an arrow upon clicking. They can fire up to 5 arrows before having to reload.
• Secondary - Hunter's Intuition: This ability allows Artemis to detect enemies more easily, outlining them normally and when behind obstacles for up to 10 seconds. When using this ability, however, they must use a significant chunk of their shield and are more easily prone to attack.

Secondary Skillset

• Q Ability - Mess with the Bull...: Once used, Artemis nocks their remaining stock of arrows (max 5) and fires them all in quick succession at a target for increased damage.
• E Ability - Can't Catch Me!: Upon using this ability, Artemis rockets themselves into the air with their wings, releasing a shock wave that stuns enemies for 2 seconds. This allows the user to get away more easily when forced into 1v1s.
• Phinisher - The Circle of Life: Artemis's Phinisher gives them increased speed and one extra jump on their passive ability. During the duration of their phinisher, their arrows release shockwaves that slow and stun opponents. This effect can last up to 10 seconds uninterupted.

 Dusekkar

Artemis holds intensely bitter feelings towards Dusekkar. For quite a while, they had hoped the man would recognize what a grave error he had made when chosing his method of punishing them, but that hope faded after quite a few other traumatic experiences they had. These feelings only grew more intense after realizing that the god he had ordered to be sealed, Vilethorn, was their parent. Even after such a long time of living among mortals, the demigod maintains their hatred for the elder god.
