Tektite
Subject 3 (By Xantheus)
Tektite is the youngest of the moonies being a half-half mixture of meteorite and moldavite. It hardly knows what it is or what it wants to do with its newly given life.
Tektite was initially carved out by Palladot before Carbonado took over after seeing the horrendous job they did. Unfortunately, its leg was unsalvageable due to this. Not that it minds much.

Appearence
You can literally see it right there. Nah just kidding I'll update this later.
Personality
Tektite is curious about almost everything around it, constantly asking questions others deem unimportant or annoying. It also has no sense of personal space often touching and prodding new people or things it meets. The only reason these behaviors have persisted is because of Carbonado's encouragement.
Surprisingly, Tektite isn't as averse to Xantheus's experiments as Palladot or Carbonado are. It believes they are quite entertaining in fact! Especially when they involve shattering or any other visible damage. It finds a masochistic pleasure in seeing things broken apart and put back together.
Character Profiles
Vol. 1:
- The youngest. Slowly figuring out what it is.

INSERT ARC
Same here lol
Relationships
Carbonado
Tektite doesn't quite understand the affection Carbonado gives, but doesn't mind it enough to tell him to stop. It's also quite confused with his human obsession, mostly because it still doesn't know what a human truly is other than what he and Xantheus have said.
Palladot
Tektite is oblivious to Palladot's jealousy of it and treats them the same way it treats everyone else. It does spend more time staring at them than anyone else because of their similar
meterorite compositions.
Xantheus
Tektite finds Xantheus to be one of it's favorite humanoids to be with. It enjoys the inhumane experiments xey conduct and how similar xeir expression is to it's own. It can be found
following xem around when permitted to.
Gem Info
- Mineral: Mineraloid
- Chemistry: SiO2(+Al2O3)
- Color: Olive Green
Moldavite is a type of tektite formed by a meteorite impact in southern Germany (Different types of tektite form in different parts of the world) that occured about 15 million years ago.
Moldavites' highly textured surfaces are now known to be the result of pervasive etching by naturally occurring CO2 and humic acids present in groundwater. Because of their
extremely low water content and chemical composition, the current consensus among earth scientists is that moldavites were formed about 14.7 million years ago during the impact
of a giant meteorite in the present-day Nördlinger Ries crater. The impact melted material and launched it into the air. As the material was airborne, it cooled and solidified. Currently,
moldavites have been found in an area that includes southern Bohemia, western Moravia, the Cheb Basin (northwest Bohemia), Lusatia (Germany), and Waldviertel (Austria). Isotope
analysis of samples of moldavites have shown a beryllium-10 isotope composition similar to the composition of Australasian tektites (australites) and Ivory Coast tektites (ivorites).
Moldavites were discovered by prehistoric people in the Czech Republic and Austria and were used to make flaked tools. Some of the worked moldavites date to the Aurignacian
period of the Upper Paleolithic, approximately 43,000 to 26,000 years before the present. In the modern world, moldavites are often used, rough or cut, as semi-precious stones in
jewelry. They have purported metaphysical qualities and are often used in crystal healing.

Trivia
- I made these guys AGES ago and unfortunately most of the misinformation about the gem is on this guy :( I originally thought tektite was a gem but NO. IT'S A WHOLE CATEGORY
OF THEM. So I had to do a LOT of fucking research to figure out what the hell I would do for this bitch and I just decided to slap on the gem with the most info and that happened to
be moldavite so sorry to all the australite fans out there I was sad too. - It's original design was WAY weirder, being inspired off Phos's shattered moon form.
- Also, yes I copied most of the gem info from Wikipedia it's good info.
