So this is basically a human AU of Thistlewoman.EXE, my megaman battle network AU of my megaman character Thistlewoman so uh...I guess she's an AU of an AU? I know I already have Annie as a cowgirl but, I wanted one that was more balanced in personality, balancing between moments where she could be complete badass and moments where she can be an absolute dork.

I definitely wanna try to edit her color palette sometime though? I feel like the brown outfit looks weird with the pink...

Her backstory really depends on the setting? But usually she's born on a farm wherest her mother failed to survive giving birth to her, thus her father saw it as Dolly's fault. He also felt disappointment as he wanted a son rather than a daughter. However, that didn't stop Dolly from trying her best every day to try and prove herself to him, trying to prove her self worth by helping as much as she could, along with picking up any skills she could, but nothing she ever did was enough. She started to become desperate, looking for any way she could prove her worth to her father, to have some sort of reaction of pride, surprise, joy, anything.

Now, what happens next is entirely dependent on the story direction she's a part of and what series she's in, but usually it ends with her neglect reaching a high point with her father abandoning her, whether it's through calling her a monster and threatening to shoot her, or simply not coming to her rescue when she's in danger. Whatever happens, it's led to her to a life away from the farm life, where she's still desperate to prove herself, she doesn't know who she's proving herself to anymore, but she wants to prove that she's worth something to everyone around her, to prove her existence is worthwhile. What she's really trying to do is prove to herself that she's good enough.
