Flameshine (Genetically Accurate)

If Flameshine were genetically accurate, she'd be a tortoiseshell, or she'd be a tom. That's because her mother was ginger and her father is brown. If the mother is ginger (or tortoiseshell) and the father is another color, all the female kittens would be torties. Flameshine would also likely be a shorthair, since her mother was a shorthair, and shorthair is the dominant fur type. Flameshine's parents would only have a 1 in 4 chance of having a longhair kitten.
