Jenivere

Born in Bravil, Cyrodiil, Jenivere spent most of her early childhood wandering the streets while her mother wallowed in a skooma den. A visiting noble took a liking to the little cub, and snatched her up without a word to anyone else. For the next seven years, the stolen child was treated as a pampered pet, given the best education, and groomed as a courtier. Her new "mother" was especially fond of her creamy white fur speckled with flecks of rich brown, and gave her the name "Jenivere Moonshine" to reflect that beauty. Jenivere enjoyed her life at first, but soon began to realize that she was being kept in a gilded cage. She began to long for the freedom to explore the world and pursue her own path, but she was kept on a tight leash. It wasn't until she caught a thief who had broken into her room that Jenivere saw an opportunity to finally escape. She begged the thief to take her with him, and he reluctantly agreed. The two made off into the night, and for the next few years she lived with her new friend, learning from him and getting to see a side of the world that she didn't know existed. Eventually her travels brought her to Skyrim, where the true adventure would begin.

• Jenivere retained many of her habits from her life as a noble's pet, and has a morning ritual that involves getting washed and brushed for the day.
• Though she's chosen to become a thief, she will only steal from the most wealthy targets and corrupt nobles
• Like her contact, Kalshan Frostfellow, she doesn't have the typical vernacular of most khajiit
• She respects Maven Blackbriar more as a rival than anything
• She wishes to help Kalshan one day open a meadery to directly compete with the Blackbriars
• She has a little bit of a crush on Farkas of the Companions. She likes her men strong, kind, and dumb!
