- Father: Maxwell Marquardt (Dead): Jakes father. He taught Jakes everything he needs to know on how to survive/hide form slenderman and all of the family history. After his father's death, Jake became obsessed with trying to figure out what happened.

Proxy: Jake for most of his life had no clue he works under Slander man Because his memory would be wiped and his father Maxwell would give him a pill that would mess with his son’s mind. But As Jake became older, he started to see that he would wake up in strange places with a notebook with information about someone. When he would go home, the new said that the person he had information on would be dead or be missing. Jakes role as a proxy would be to stalk the victims or a someone how has potential, people how committed suicide because of him called him The Watching Man. Jake would not wear a mask because the town they lived in was small enough where you would go into the same person at least twice a day. Jake that the ability that was given to all Seeker of the Marquardt where people would not be able to economize there face when they were under the control of Slender. Jake never knew that he was being used until his dad died, he would see the slender man watching him, which lead to Jake obsession on figuring out Slender’s true motivations and to prove that she was not crazy. Though this endless amount of research Jake led working angst Slender and see that he was being used. 

Back-story: Jake is the son of Helen and Maxwell Marquardt. He was a very average kid except for his stuttering and claims that a tall man in a suit was watching him. His father would help Jake so that the Slender would not take and use him as his father was used as a proxy for so many years. Maxwell worked as a police dog trainer. So when his family deiced it would be best to get Jake a service dog, they end up taking in a police dog that failed in its training. Jake worked with his new found friend Remy. Jake started to get more curious about slender would try and take his father’s camera or journal which had a lot of information him, Jake would later inheart his father's camera and then pass it down to his sister Casey. Jake was known to have what his father called blackouts, where Jake seemed like he was possessed, he would walk around the house dazed. HE looked like a zombie, his eyes looked glazed over, and he could not speak. Maxwell would tell his wife this was just a side effect of the medication he was taking to help with OCD. But the real reason he would act like this was that he was under slender control, so his father decided to take a distracted measure. He bought pills that were to keep Slender away and keep him out of his son’s mind. These pills made Jake forget most of his childhood. After the death of Jake's father, he felt like he just woke up. But he came to in a hospital, where he was told that his father is dead and that he was found half dead next to his father body. Jake also found out he now had a strange mark on his neck; the mark was a circle with an “X” through, Jake was not just any stranger to this symbol it was the same symbol he remembers seeing his dad draw in his journal along with it being marked on Remy’s caller. This lead Jake to became obsessed with what or who killed his father and to see if his father was telling that truth about the tall man in the woods. Without the pills this father would give jake to try and help keep slender way, Jake started to see that he would wake up in a strange place with notes on people he has never met and then sometimes the notes or papers would be missing for the notebook after the person went missing or was dead. Jake soon started to work agents Slender against. This is what Led to Jakes death. Jake was driving, his little sister Casey, and Girlfriend anna back to home after Casey’s birthday party. Jake Crash the car killing himself and his dog Remy and hurting the Casey and Anna.
