DIET SPECIFICATIONS

Primarily fruit, nuts, honey, and meat (usually from deer, cows, chicken and fish).


REPRODUCTION

Lay a clutch of 6-10 though on average only 3-4 survive to hatch. Only lay 1 clutch in their lifetime, and mate for life. Drakhnids pups are born fully ready to move around and explore, able to waddle around and follow their parents whenever they need to move to another cave.


COMMUNICATION

Have their own spoken and written language. (WIP)

Use a mix of magic, potions and medical plants for health practices.

CULTURE

Drakhnids have their own settlements and countries, each with their own name and story to tell. Drakhnids do no have any sort of rulership like kings, queens or mayors or any polilital title. They do have 1 or more Draks they call 'Watchers' who are voted by the population of the Draks of that settlement. These Watchers in a way are guards but are strong and open to help any of the Draks who reside in the area.

Drakhnids have a foundation of gods, goddesses and deities that most do worship in some way, even if not to a dedicated degree. But all have their own believes and practices they do as these deities helped shape the world they live in their day to day lives.

With these foundations of deities there is plenty of celebrations and events Draks hold, specially plenties of different types of feasts and festivals. Draks have a huge belief in the afterlife, and it's common for there to be a feast for the deceased.


HISTORY

The planet the Draks lives on (name is tbd), was mostly bare of life. Where a young and starting deity decided this bare canvas was worthy of a masterpiece. Here, (name tbd) become the mother of all Drakhnids. Where her brother, Oreboros (quite the lazy deity) became the very land and minerals for the Draks and the god of the ores and mining, and her sister (tbd) became the goddess of plants and harvest. (tbd) soon had children who became (tbd) goddess of death and the dead, (tbd) the god of magic who found the magic source from their uncle's crystals. Then branches off many more deities.

Drakhnids started out more primal but as the land grew, so did their curosity. Creating villages, towns, cities, discovering all sorts of use with the magic around them given by their gods. Building up to what the land is today.

[The Drak world is settled on a technological world similar to our own but with magical means instead of electricity. Giving a more medieval fantasy aesthetic.]
