Who am I to deprive my audience?

Nobody knows where Cipher came from- least of all himself. Spawned from a bucket of halloween candy, from a particularly greusome death by slasher- all he can truly say is he spawned with a disdain for rotisserie chicken and a single solitary passion: evil. The more bombastic, the bigger and louder, the more Cipher throws his weight into the ring- he's a professional sycophant, using his arcane power to bolster the villains he's chosen to side with. Despite his passion, however, he's fine with seeing villains fall- luxuriating in the spectacle of a greusome villain death. With the power to summon anything by drawing it and eyes Everywhere, his power would be apocayptic if he wasn't so insistent on using it to dick around.

Cipher is, as it happens, a man endebted- a demon who himself answers to a far more sinister power. That power is a demon from beyond reality itself- one brokered with, pieced back together post-demise. A demon just as hedonistic as the Painting Demon.
They met in 2012, as it happens- but that connection has lasted well over ten years.
