Story

Jasmine and Olive's parents were best friends, and after the tragic car crash which killed Jasmine's parents, there was no question on whether or not Olive's family would take her in. Jasmine and Olive grew up together as sisters and were as close as can be. During their teen years, a bully from school steals Jasmine's necklace, her only remaining object from her birth parents. Determinded to get it back, she breaks into their house and decides to steal more than just her necklace. This gives Jasmine a taste for thievery and leads her down a path to becoming Sapphire Mist, the infamous jewelry thief.

Her son, Theo, was unplanned. Having a child didn't match her wild and glamourus lifestyle, and she was quite frankly terrified of being a mother. So she went to Olive for help, and Olive offered to adopt Theo. Jasmine would stop in from time to time to see her son, but never consistantly, and by the time he was a teenager he wanted nothing to do with his mother. Jasmine decides to take him on a cruise, just the two of them, for some good quality bonding time. But the ship crashes and they get seperated. Jasmine meets Madeline, and begs her to help find her son. Madeline reluctantly agrees, and the two bond (eventually falling in love) while searching for Theo. In the end they find him and everything is okay.
