Entity's mental state is fragile; she's often seen talking to herself or pacing, torn between loyalty and anger. Some days, she goes out of her way to attend Melody's game nights, participating like its the best thing she's ever done. On others, she refuses to interact with his content, ranting to anyone who will listen about how much he’s taken from her. She's outwardly confident in whatever opinion she holds for that period, and it usually takes a lot to wear her down. When talking to her it feels like she's not really hearing you.
Entity, once a devoted wife and mother, led a relatively ordinary life with her family. She worked hard to provide for them, but in her free time, she found an escape in Melody’s world. What began as a simple admiration for Melody's music quickly spiraled into a deep emotional investment. Entity regularly bought Melody’s merchandise, subscribed to his premium content, and donated large sums of money to his campaigns, always seeking exclusive access and the feeling of being closer to her idol.
She prided herself on being one of his top supporters, feeling as though her financial contributions made her a part of Melody's inner circle. Her wife often expressed concern about the growing obsession, but Entity brushed it off, insisting it was just her way of coping with stress.
Online, Entity was known as a top-tier patron of Melody, frequently boasting about her contributions. She held exclusive memberships, attended virtual meet-and-greets, and was active in Melody’s fan forums, where other fans respected her for her dedication and willingness to spend heavily on her idol. Entity became something of a figurehead for Melody’s top supporters, but she also held a sense of entitlement, believing that all the money she spent meant Melody owed her recognition or special treatment.
Her loyalty to Melody fluctuated, though. Every time he asked for more—whether through high-cost membership tiers, limited-edition merchandise, or special events that required even more donations—Entity felt a mixture of pride and frustration. She believed that Melody would eventually acknowledge her dedication, but there was always the lingering bitterness of how much she had already sacrificed.
When tragedy struck and she lost her wife and kids (divorce), her attachment to Melody deepened. He became her lifeline, her escape from the overwhelming grief. Entity threw herself even further into the relationship, believing that her continued support would make her losses more bearable, while also giving her a sense of purpose.
After being pulled into SYNC, Entity's emotional state became even more volatile. She struggles with the loss of her family, and the disillusionment of realizing that Melody, the one she believed she had "supported" into greatness, exploits her financially and emotionally. Now trapped in the system she once funded, she flip-flops between intense loyalty and anger toward him.
On her good days, Entity clings to her original belief, that her financial and emotional investment in Melody will pay off. She continues to support him, even if it means further exploitation, convincing herself that staying loyal to him will eventually bring her the recognition she craves. On her bad days, however, she is furious. She feels manipulated, betrayed, and trapped by a system that only values her as a financial resource. In these moments, Entity lashes out, questioning Melody’s intentions and resenting how much she gave up for the illusion of closeness and fame.
