Hazel’s familiar, a phoenix resembling a small hawk. Familiars show up when a mage is ready, and sometimes certain barriers have to be consciously or even physically crossed to really get to that next level. Familiars are for sure a massive buff, but are more of a sign of one’s own strength and potential.
