Its size and speed make it a force to be reckoned with, and is deceptively swift and agile in flight for such a large beast. BeatsBat is completely blind, but is armed with highly accute hearing. It emits a chirping/chittering sound from its head speakers constantly, likely its form of echolocation. Its also capable of opening its head to reveal a much more powerful speaker, which is able to loose sounds at such a volume and frequency that it blows objects (and people) back and shatters glass around it for up to half a mile diameter. However, it appears that it cannot chirp with its head open, and it therefore largely blind and vulnerable to attack, if one can get close enough.
