Daccoise always tries his best besides his many, MANY failures on the daily. His clumsiness can be attributed to his bad eye, but also is because he's always on edge. He strives to get Almond Patisserie out there. He'll try to do whatever he can to save money.
Daccoise's lifelong dream was to open his own patisserie. He'd always been fascinated in the craftmanship behind desserts he'd see on TV or in magazines. He eventually reached his goal after a long while in baking school and lots of training. However, being fresh out of school, he had hardly anything to his name. No one really paid attention to him either, so he was really just thrown out there after graduating. It's no surprise that he has poor social skills and anxiety.
With whatever money he could scrape up from small jobs, Daccoise finally opened Almond Patisserie. However, it's in a completely remote location, and people are never drawn to it. The second floor of the building is where Daccoise lives, along with Merin. Though it might not seem like it, Daccoise posseses real skill and is an excellent baker. He just.. lacks consistency.
Daccoise took her in after an accident caused her creation. She works alongside Daccoise as his sole employee. She helps him do nearly everything and keeps him company, so he's extremely grateful. He passed his culinary skills onto her, and at this point, Merin has almost surpassed him. Though they may banter, The love Daccoise has for Merin is unconditional.
A chance encounter led Mortis to Almond Patisserie. Daccoise was prepared for him to leave and never return once he finally got his order out, but to his surprise, he kept coming back. Daccoise calls Mortis his Number 1. Customer.. and he is. Really. They're also good friends despite their personalities being so different.
Daccoise doesn't know too much about Tessa, but she's come to the Pattisserie a few times, so that makes her a friend of his. That, and the fact that she's Merin's best friend.
