Ryewhisker was always ALMOST too restless for clan life, and certainly would never have followed the warrior code a day in her life if she didn't have people she loved in the clan. Wily and wise, she was a force to push the clan out of its comfort zone, and didn't take any nonsense from anyone. After coming down with cat tuberculosis, but vanishing before she could be buried, her mate, Rattlestar, chooses to believe she's still out there somewhere, raising Hell far, far away.
