Born and raised in the heart of Newark, New Jersey, Valencia's early years were marked by a sense of restlessness and a thirst for adventure. Growing up on a steady listening of punk rock and hardcore music, he found solace in the raw, unfiltered energy of the scene. His fascination with punk and alternative music, coupled with his natural charisma, drew him into the vibrant underground scene. Inspired by the likes of those around him, Valencia gravitated towards the bass guitar, embracing it as his weapon of choice and embarked on a journey of self-discovery through the world of music, which followed along with him making his own band in 2002 which is still going strong to the current year, 2005.

As the bassist and lyricist for the post-hardcore band "Nine Daydream" Valencia played a pivotal role in shaping their distinctive sound and image. Known for their infectious hooks and anthemic choruses, the band quickly gained traction within the underground circuit, capturing the hearts of fans with their electrifying performances. Valencia's introspective and evocative lyrics spoke to a generation grappling with issues of identity, love, and introspection.

Keir Gallo, a 21 year old mutt of unknown breed, another bassist playing with the band 'My Greatest Lie'. Valencia and Keir's friendship blossomed amidst the chaos of a tour their bands were playing on during 2004, bonding over shared interests and a mutual love for music. They quickly became inseparable, spending countless hours jamming together, writing songs, and exploring the city's hidden gems. Their connection was forged through late-night conversations and impromptu adventures, cementing a bond of close friendship.

With their close friendship during the tour, rumors began to circulate about Valencia and Keir's relationship, fueled by their undeniable chemistry, affectionate displays of affinity and the mysterious writings of Valencia posted online during the tour spent together which found their way into a couple Nine Daydream songs of lyrics in yearning, heavy-hearted songs... Speculation ran rampant among fans and tabloids alike, with whispers of secret rendezvous and hidden feelings simmering beneath the surface. Yet, amidst the speculation, Valencia and Keir remained tight-lipped and in avoidance of questions.

Ivalo Cyren Half-brother, Bandmate

Ivalo Cyren, Valencia's 17 year old half-brother. Thanks to Valencia's influence, from an early age, Ivalo showed love for the music his brother would listen to, enjoying shows Valencia would drag him around to. As Valencia's younger brother, Ivalo looks up to him as both a mentor and a role model. Their bond is a strong one. Valencia serves as Ivalo's guiding light, offering encouragement and guidance as he navigates the challenges of joining a band and finding his place in the industry. Despite the occasional sibling rivalry, their relationship is built on a foundation of love, respect, and unwavering support. He has a natural talent for music, eagerly picking up the guitar and experimenting with different chords and melodies. His passion for music only deepened as he grew older, fueling his desire to pursue a career in the industry and follow in his brother's footsteps.

When an opportunity arises for a new rhythm guitarist to join Valencia's band after the old one had opted out, Ivalo jumped at the chance to audition. Despite his nerves, he impresses the band members with his raw talent and undeniable passion that he'd learned from being in multiple bands from age 14, earning him a coveted spot as the newest member of the group. Excited yet apprehensive about joining the band, Ivalo is determined to prove himself. Becoming an offical member in 2004 at only 16.
