A fresh "upstart" as far as hell's major demons are concerned. Vanadium is a cruel opportunist who will do anything to sate his lust for power. Gifted with the ability to influence minds and a deep understanding of what makes people vulnerable, he began climbing the ladder quickly after a demon named Alcide began seemingly-indiscriminately murdering demons with large amounts of power and leaving power vacuums in his wake. With nobody to control the chaos, a reassuring word (and a bit of manipulative magic) is all it takes for someone to find themselves taking over for the fallen before them. Vanadium gained a lot of influence incredibly quickly, and is now arguably one of the most powerful demons in hell.

Controls a large amount of the entertainment mediums as far as broadcasting goes. He uses these programs alongside social media to keep the demons in his state under his control, and to influence others who are susceptible enough to fall victim to him. Resisting his mind control is even more difficult in person, as he has more direct ways of connecting to you. This makes any public speeches he happens to feel like giving on any given day very successful. It's difficult to criticise or get close to Vanadium if you're not also a demon with a lot of influence, as many of his followers will readily defend him against the weaker riff-raff. He doesn't socialise often outside circles of other powerful demons.

Despite using Alcide's murder to his advantage, and wanting to continue to do so, Vanadium's public reign is currenty backed by a campaign to kill him. The two hate one another intensely and get into fights whenever they're in the same vicinity; Vanadium because Alcide disrupted the power structure in hell, making his plans more reckless and putting some of his friends at risk, and Alcide because Vanadium knows his deepest secrets. However, their power levels are very similar in their current states, so neither of them can actually usurp the other.

Alongside his mind-related abilities, Vanadium can also harness electricity and electronics in his immediate vicinity to use as weapons. For this reason, he's a fan of laser guns. The needle-like plugs that protrude from his coat are connected to his back, with six in total. He can connect these directly to people to influence them with his mind magic, or electrocute them... whatever might be needed at that point in time.
