Kyon is the adopted son of Senna. She found him as a newborn, abandoned by the Outlands and brought him back to Gareth, their King.
Because she was unable to have cubs of her own, Gareth tolerated his presence in the pride for a while, but did not trust him as an Outlander.
The other females and cubs were split on their opinions of him, but he was just a cub? What harm could come of it?
After Kyon started growing, Gareth noticed him spending more and more time with his daughter, Akita, and became enraged.
Senna tried to talk with him, but her pleas went unheard. Gareth was going to banish him, or worse.
Senna began to get desperate and began to approach him, willing to fight if she had to, though she knew she was no match.
After a hard defeat, instead of killing her, Gareth showed mercy and exiled her and Kyon from the lands.
Senna then left the Pride's territory to take care of him in safety. Promising to devote her life to raising him.
