Kharis Valkyrie

Kharis Valkyrie, named after a storybook character by one of the nuns at the Convent where she was raised as an orphan, discovered aged seven that she was, in fact, not an elf, but a changeling. She was taught that she was something to be feared, a stain upon the mortal plane, that had been spared execution on the condition that she never reveal what she was, and lived her life of a human. She succeeded too, at least, until she got sick. That’s when she lost it all.
