An astromancer and socialite from Nightborne society. When the Legion came she foresaw her people becoming slaves to the demons, and took a hoard of arcwine and exiled herself. She's currently welcoming back the lavish life of a Suramar citizen post-Legion.

Valunas is like any other Nightborne socialite - rich, into politics, and vain. She cherishes her appearance over many things, including her work at times. Life is slow as a Nightborne, after all. Everything can wait 10 more years.
Background
Valunas studied astromancy along with arcane magic for years. She reads the stars to determine the future and current happenings on Azeroth and ran a tabloid magazine in her younger years before angering the wrong person. As she got older she became more responsible, taking up teaching the younger Nightborne what she learned. Since she's a socialite, she spends most days at parties drinking arcwine and gossiping about whoever wore whatever.

Summary
Valunas was born into Highborne society 2000 years after the Sundering that forced Suramar to put up its protective bubble. The world inside was all she and many other Nightborne knew, believing the outside world to be destroyed. She studied astromancy in school despite everyone telling her it was pointless - Suramar can't even see the real night sky. So she minored in the arcane to quell her naysayers. Valunas had this gut feeling that the world outside was more or less fine and the sky was waiting to be seen by Highborne society again. And she was right.
When the Legion came and the bubble was torn down to let them in, the first thing she foresaw was her people becoming slaves. She also foresaw outside heroes that would come and free Suramar - she just didn't know when. So Valunas fled Suramar City for the time being until all of it blew over. If it didn't have to be her problem, she wouldn't let it be. She could hide well, using arcane abilities to disappear and read the stars to see when someone would come for her and change locations accordingly. She struggled with the addiction for mana to keep sane but found solace when she found Shal'aran and Thalyssra's rebellion.

- "Valunas" surprisingly was a randomly generated name in-game that actually turned out to be good.
- Like many nightborne, she has those high-class kinks. She's a dominatrix.
- Wine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And a dessert wine, of course.
- She loves cloudy nights, actually. It means she can take the day off.
