in spite of this and how many times I've drawn him, I keep forgetting his 'freckles' and eye scar :"))
he's my character for dnd club! the other characters in his image gallery belong to my pals in the party, with Krraw the aarakocra belonging to Grekkuga !
unfortunately, I can't reveal too much about him yet, so this is very abbreviated compared to what I've written in his Google Doc.

personality / traits

• difficult to offend; you could scream in his face and he'd ask you if you need a hug
• doesn't complain or whine; does what he has to do and to the best of his ability
• benevolent and wholesome nature; he consults his heart for every decision he makes; empathizes with monsters in some situations
• his spirituality revolves around being the best person he can be
• passive in social situations; tends to let people step on him and disrespect his boundaries
• reluctant to get close to anyone; he's not an asshole, he just gets cold feet
• self-esteem is severely lacking; covers his face because he doesn't like his appearance
• pretty bad body dysmorphia; grew up thinking he's an ugly, mutated elf

• any variety of feline; he is a friend of all cats; if he had snapchat, he'd only send pictures of cats

• he rarely takes off his face covering. when he does, it's only when he has to eat, or when he is around people he trusts. it's basically his safety blanket
• his favorite dish is his mother's five-pepper steak fajitas. honey-lemon tarts are in second place
• he adores his parents and talks about them often; he wants the party to meet his parents someday
• he wasn't born with gray hair; his hair used to be the same color as the white lock on his hairline; when he went to the tavern to share a drink with his coworkers, he blacked out and woke up with gray hair; it has occurred to him that they may have spiked his wine with some sort of potion
• his favorite alcoholic beverage is chilled cabernet sauvignon
• his mother's side of the family invented a cocktail traditionally given as an informal rite of passage to those the day they have become old enough to drink, made with lime, tequila and juice from the spiciest pepper in Shaydin (Rydik's hometown); "I made it! Almost hospitalized, but I made it!" -- Rydik, upon being asked if he survived
