Hoard: Collected by her or given to her by her islanders. She has large piles of sea shells on a smaller island located in the isle. She welcomes those to see them but not to touch without permission.
Personality
Sea is naive and ignorant of any culture other than the one she and her islanders have built together. Her grasp of the language (Draconic) is at the equivalent of a fifth grader and until recent years, hadn't known any English at all. Sheβs bubbly and has an innocent charm to her. Though she can be childish, she is very caring and almost motherly. Typically nice and more instinctual than most modern dragons sheβll typically want to play wrestle when she meets someone new. She grows attached to newcomers very quickly and then cares for them deeply. Despite this, her emotions can change quickly and once youβve made her angry thereβs no going back.
History
Okaaz or Sea was and is a bit of a peculiar Sea Serpent. Once she separated from her mother and her human form was achieved...she chose to continue on in the form. Or at least being above the surface most of the times. She traveled the oceans, both above and underneath them, for 70 years before she came across her very first humans. They were living in this collection of islands and Sea watched them curiously from afar.
These creatures obviously were not dragons, they didnβt smell like it, but they looked a little like her. After a week of watching the small village go about their business, she decided she wanted to greet them. She arrived in her dragon form before transforming into the form they might be more familiar with. The indigenous people had never seen a dragon before and saw Sea as a deity. The showered her with love and admiration and the solitary dragon who had never once been so kindly treated felt loved for the first time.
She treated the people with the same if not in surplus kindness and love they gave her. They built her a shrine/home and she stayed to watch over these strange creatures. She learned about birth and death, love and friendship from them. In return, they grew to speak draconic and she protected the isle and their people with her draconic abilities.
Sea has been on this island for nearly 4 centuries and sees every single person born on her Isle to be like her children. Getting to know and connect with every single person from birth to the end of their life. She knows everyone by name and shares in all their life experiences, seeing and being apart of several generations of families.
