taffy is a gum golem from the candy kingdom. she's distantly related to princess bubblegum, but they don't really get along. taffy always had a crush on marceline, and during their breakup, taffy acted as sort of a rebound for marcy. ultimately, taffy only got used, hurt, and tossed aside. she wants to feel important but feels as though she's living in the shadow of a greater gum.
