• Draws a lot of diagrams in his spare time. Finds the sketching quite freeing

• Devout member of the church, seen there almost as frequently as Begonia

• Office is always covered in flowers. He cares for them like patients, even giving them names

• Frequently lectures at the Prudentia College due to his uniquely vast experience 

Doctor Thistle was a silly Nickname from his youth. He dreamed of studying everything about the forms of gemkind. He began his studies as soon as he could... truly burying himself in them when, in his early adolescence, many of his peers were cast out of the court to never be seen again. He has an estranged son, who he fathered rather young. They haven't spoken since his son left in a fit of rage over his refusal to let him skip out on a proper education.

He is the father of Bourbonrose Rhodolite.
