One of the original Ancients. The Beginning.

As one of the progenitors to the Seraphs, Rhea has always had a bit of an ego. This world was her oyster. The Islands her home and her canvas. So over time as the old Faith died out and Ancients no longer held sway with the mortals they had raised up from nothing, she became bitter. Too proud to admit she was lonely without her worshippers.

Eventually, after watching the mortal Seraphs bond, fall in love, have families... She decided she had a fix for her loneliness. She just needed to have a child of her own! While there were Seraphs who shared her blood, it wasn't through birth that this gift had been shared. So using a disguise as a mortal, she found one who was willing to give her a child without needing to stay to support her. She didn't wish for a mate. There was no need for one.

Her only love became her son. Her Heir. Born with his nameless father's sweet disposition and the playful energy from her endless aether, he was her one bright light in the world. Rhea gave him everything. Patience that she'd never had before; love that once had come with defined rules. Enough that when he wished to live amongst those she had helped create, she let him go with a heavy heart and all the hope she could offer.

Swearing that anytime he needed her, she would be there. She hadn't been there for her worshippers. But she would be there for her son.
